Insects not dangerous, since they do not transmit diseases, but extremely annoying when they are in great amounts.
In our country, ants meet climatic conditions suitable for their development and reproduction, making it a highly common pest in our area. There are more than 10,000 species of ants, although the garden ant (Lasius niger), Argentina (Linepithima humilia) and the Pharaoh ant (Monomorium pharaonis) are the most common in Spain.
The most common problem with ants is that they invade spaces with food, such as the kitchen, and also reach any food that is discovered in record time, crossing the places in the kitchen that are used for cooking.
So although the ants themselves do not transmit diseases people have been able to be in any place with dirt and contaminate the tops or culinary tools.
